At Travertine, we grew up obsessed with building things — from Lego and K’nex to Lego Mindstorms and FIRST Lego League. Those early projects taught us how creativity and technology come together to make ideas real.

Years later, after studying engineering and working in tech, we realized that spark of creativity never really went away — it just needed better tools. Travertine was born from that idea: to build the products we wish we had as kids — tools that merge hands-on creativity with modern technology.

Our first product, the IoT Motor Module, started with a simple frustration: every time we built something to solve a problem around the house, we had to take it apart for the next project. The Motor Module fixes that. It combines the brains and the motors into one connected system — a building block that can live beyond the workbench and into your home.
